Applying DJP glazing and stop profiles results in a significant improvement in the Uf value of the frame. Where the standard aluminum profiles act as a thermal bridge, the DURODEEN material has an insulating effect. This allows a reduction of up to 0.4 W/m²K on the Uf value of the bottom connection.

SKH hereby declares that the profiles supplied comply with the SKH Quality Declaration included product description and product specifications. Taking into account the processing instructions included in Appendix 1 of this SKH Quality Declaration, the plastic profiles can be applied in wooden façade elements manufactured and
delivered under BRL 0801.

DJP PROFILES increases the performance of new wooden window frames. Thanks to the very favourable properties of the material DURODEEN, the insulation value is increased and the lifespan is extended. Moreover, the profiles are cast in your process, resulting in a very attractive whole.

DJP SILL COVERS EXTERIOR GLAZING
Nose battens for exterior glazing are applied in a ventilated way so that the underlying wood is well aerated and moisture has no chance to affect the frame. For maximum efficiency, the profile is continued to the outside of the frame so that the vulnerable lower joints are also covered. Nose slats are available in various sizes.

FINISHING
DJP PROFILES
The finishability of Durodeen has been released under conditions. The processor has the obligation to use the finishability of Durodeen with its paint system to be substantiated with independent tests for adhesion and moisture-frost testing (according to SKH-Publication 97-04 ‘requirements and method of determination’ section 5.2.9.2). Report 20.0325 ‘Finishability of Durodeen according to the SKH BGS Plastic Profiles’ provides this substantiation for a covering paint system consisting of 2 layers of PE 627QO according to process conditions described in PPG BRL 0817 certificate 33140/20 Condition O.
In autumn 2024, it is planned to include the moisture-frost test in SKH publication 98-04. Carpentry manufacturers / door manufacturers / paint applicators are then required to carry out the moisture-frost test for new or unknown timber species in accordance with SKH Publication 10-01. To accommodate processors in this, guidelines are being drawn up to support this process. The paint system-dependent guidelines can be requested from Innodeen.
