The use of DJP glazing and tilt & turn profiles results in a significant improvement of the Uf value of the frame. Where the standard aluminum profiles act as a thermal bridge, the DURODEEN material has an insulating effect. This allows a reduction of up to 0.4 W/m²K on the Uf value of the bottom connection.

DJP SILL COVERS EXTERIOR GLAZING
Sill covers for exterior glazing are installed ventilating so that the underlying wood is properly aerated and moisture does not have a chance to attack the frame. For maximum efficiency, the profile is continued up to the outside of the frame so that the vulnerable bottom connections are also covered. Sill covers are available in various sizes.
