The special thing about Compodeen is that it consists entirely of ‘waste’. The share of wood fibre comes for example from, broken or old pallets, packaging material and unpainted scrap wood, also known as A-wood. The remaining component is PP, one of the most environmentally friendly plastics available. This ‘post consumers waste’ plastic literally comes from the well-known PMD waste bin or bag. The two materials are combined and extruded under high pressure.

As a result, weather influences have no negative impact on the service life. The wood fibres are positioned in the lengthwise in this patented process, resulting in exceptional strength. During the production of Compodeen, residual material is easily reused for new material without loss of quality. Of course, this also applies to – applied in practice – Compodeen.

In short: Compodeen is a durable, versatile and circularly applicable material.
